Building Community, One Cup at a Time

Hope your Monday is off to a marvelous start!

If you've been following along on our Substack and social media, you know we're brewing up something special this summer – a 3-part coffee meet up series that marries two of my favorite things: coffee and conversation.

Why Coffee? Why Now?

As a new mom, my time has become both more precious and more limited, but that's exactly why I'm excited about this approach. Instead of the usual scheduling challenges of trying to squeeze in individual coffee meetings, these intimate gatherings will allow us to connect with our vibrant community of producers, writers, directors, actors, and creatives.

There's something magical that happens when passionate people gather in small groups. The energy shifts. Conversations go deeper. Real connections form.

The Intimate Experience

This meetup series is exclusively for paid Patreon and Substack members, allowing us to keep things intimate and intentional. Each cafecito will rotate locations throughout the summer, each chosen for its unique atmosphere and, of course, exceptional coffee.

Whether you're between projects, in the thick of production, or just starting your creative journey, these gatherings are designed to nourish both your craft and your soul. Think of it as our creative sanctuary, a place where we can:

  • Share current projects without judgment

  • Discover collaboration opportunities

  • Enjoy being seen by people who know how hard this shiz is

Fueled by Coffee

In an industry that can often feel isolating and transactional, I believe we need more spaces for authentic connection. Evening mixers are fun but can be exhausting and costly. Places where the question isn't "What can you do for me?" but rather "How can we support each other's creative vision?"

That's what this summer series is really about – connecting our community in ways that extends beyond the coffee shop, beyond the summer, and into the meaningful relationships that make this creative life not just sustainable, but joyful.

Ready to join us?

And for our second location... [drumroll]…
